- AZ Democrat Secretary of State (SOS) stripped of power to defend state's election laws in court and instead handed to Republican Attorney General (AG)
- Budgetary change will end on January 23, 2023 when the current SOS's term ends
SB 1485 (Passed)
- Removal from early voting lists if voter has not voted in last two election cycles)
- Will not receive ballot if voter has not voted in last two election cycles
HB 2720 (Proposed)
- Legislature certifies Presidential elections, not Secretary of State
- Does not require legislature to provide reasons nor hearings for their certification
HB 2826 (Proposed)
- Gives the legislature power to certify election results
